As we slowly exit of a season of social distance and isolation, Beauty by Creative at Heart is focused on how we can provide you with even better, more personalized service. We have all observed and heard of the effects of the restrictions placed on us due to COVID-19. We need to connect and crave the intimacy of face-to-face interaction.
Our "normal" has always been opposite of what we have recently experienced. The cold, seemingly unfriendly, smileless world is not something we could ever accept as the norm. Moving forward, we are committed to more smiles, more interaction and more fabulous service.
I have always preferred doing business on a more personal level. Face-to-face interaction, a phone call is far more preferable over automated e-mails or text messages. At the very least, a personally crafted e-mail adressed to each person individually is important! Our business requires a personal touch.
How can we connect and stay connected to your clients? Beauty by Creative at Heart has a list of things on their "to do" list to stay connected and let our brides and clients know that they are essential, that we care and are here for them despite the seasons we face.
Separation has brought clarity to how blessed we are to share such special moments with YOU and make even a small contribution to big occasions! Fun gifts and surprises, random messages, and extra pampering will become the new and improved norm for Team BCH.
We are excited for the changes and the opportunity to provide you even more fabulous service.

Our hearts are with you as many have no idea when to reschedule, postpone, or delay during this Covid19 pandemic. We all find ourselves confused, frustrated, and sometimes just plain defeated.
BCH has been researching what other industry professionals are doing and a recent conversation with a friend in North Carolina shed a little light on a challenging situation. This sweet couple celebrated a small, intimate wedding on their original date; however, they will also move forward with their “big” celebration when it is safe to have a large number of guests.
Stay in touch with your vendors during this time. We have made provisions for our brides and most likely others have as well. Your vendors are ready to stick with you, be flexible and understanding so we encourage you to use your vendors if all of your needs can still be met! Most count on the income from weddings to pay their bills so they'll be willing to work with you.
Your florist? Send flowers to someone you love just "because". Others? Drop a text and let them know you are thinking of them. Couples across the country are having virtual weddings! Others are postponing but a consensus here at Beauty by Creative at Heart, well, we love the idea of a small intimate gathering and believe you should get married anyway! Your grand celebration with friends and family can be held at a later time.
Perhaps this is the time to renew your vows! Have an intimate gathering with your besties and rekindle that spark.
Renewal, small gathering or large, we are at the ready to assist you. At Beauty by Creative at Heart, we want you to look - and feel - more beautiful than you already are! We have our makeup artsts and hair designers ready to safely give you the look you want for whatever occasion you are celebration.
We know this will end. Things may be a bit out of sorts now but we will make it through this! Check out other wedding sites and blogs for more helpful information and inspiration. As always, we are here for you! Call us and we can work out your options together.

Hello beautiful ladies!
It’s another #TIPsyTuesday!
Let's talk about our hair tools - brushes, combs, clips, and styling tools. You might not give caring for these daily go-to's a second thought but properly maintaining for your hair tools is not only important to keep these everyday beauty necessities in tip-top shape. Regular cleaning is great for your brushes as it breaks down dirt, grease, and oils. This buildup adds stress to your locks and can transfer bacteria (yikes!) to your hair and scalp which can lead to scalp infections! Gross!
Brushes, Combs, Clips Remove buildup of oils, product and bacteria!
What you need: Antibacterial soap
What To Do
Remove hair. Be sure to remove all the hair from your brushes. To do this, use a comb and start brushing out the hair until clean.
Wash ... yes, wash them. Stylists use a cleaning solution like Ship-Shape or Barbicide for sterilizing after clients. In many cases, you may not have access to these so grab a mild antibacterial soap to do the trick. Add this to a sink full of warm water and place your tools inside. Leave them soaking in the solution for about 30 minutes.
Rinse. Drain the water and rinse well. Place everything on a clean towel to dry.
How often: Weekly or bi-weekly
Hot Styling Tools Remove sticky buildup
What you need: Cleansing pads (found at local beauty supply store) or a cloth dampened with rubbing alcohol
What To Do
Be sure your tools are unplugged. Using the cleansing pads, scrub back and forth for a few seconds to remove buildup. Wipe with a clean damp cloth. If you do not have the cleansing pads (similar to a brillo pad), add alcohol to a rag and follow the same technique.
How often: Monthly
Hair Dryers Clogged air intake filters will cause your dryer to perform poorly and shorten the life of your dryer
What you need: Toothpicks, antibacterial soap
What To Do
With the dryer unplugged, remove the air intake cap and rinse it with antibacterial soap and hot water. Using a toothpick, remove the remaining dust particles with a toothpick. Some versions may be sharp so we do not recommend using your fingers to do this. Let the cap dry completely before reattaching it to your dryer.
How often: Monthly
Stay safe lovelies... we miss you!
