2020! What a ride! Many of us have had our share of challenges and faced things we never thought we'd have to this past year. Joblessness, financial strains, illness, loss, fear, anger, frustration. Yes, the year was full of ups and downs and every emotion possible. But we made it! We got through and we got through stronger and better!
This was an especially challenging year for the event industry - namely, our brides. Weddings were rescheduled or cancelled and left our beauties scrambling to make alternative plans for their happily ever after. As a superior customer service team, all of us at BCH were sensitive to the needs {and emotions} of our brides and were understanding and flexible with their needs.
Donning our masks, continuing {and increasing} our sanitary practices, and being super diligent with hand sanitizer to the point our hands might crack, we styled and glammed our brides and their tribes with the same enthusiasm and passion you've come to expect from our team. We brushed up on our patience skills and learned how to truly be flexible.
We learned the importance of family and time well spent, as well as taking better care of ourselves to stay ahead of the curve.
Despite the challenges, we have much to be thankful for. Although the spring season was a wash when it came to weddings and events, our team still pampered beauties for over 130 weddings and events! Thank you for allowing us to share your day and celebrate with you! With many talented teams to choose from, it is truly an honor to have been given the opportunity!
Many of our brides celebrated their nuptials despite changes with a micro wedding with family and their closest friends. They were resilient and decided that despite the restrictions and craziness surrounding them, they would "get married anyway" and we celebrated with them!
Collaborations
We had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the industries finest professionals, including a collaboration with Our Dream Wedding Expo for West Palm Beach Bridal Events in 2020 & those in 2021 - we hope to see you there! We have the honor of pampering some mommas-to-be and brand new mommas through a partnership with Aimee Nelson Photography. Our hearts are with you as many have no idea when to reschedule, postpone, or delay during this Covid19 pandemic. We all find ourselves confused, frustrated, and sometimes just plain defeated.
BCH has been researching what other industry professionals are doing and a recent conversation with a friend in North Carolina shed a little light on a challenging situation. This sweet couple celebrated a small, intimate wedding on their original date; however, they will also move forward with their “big” celebration when it is safe to have a large number of guests.
Stay in touch with your vendors during this time. We have made provisions for our brides and most likely others have as well. Your vendors are ready to stick with you, be flexible and understanding so we encourage you to use your vendors if all of your needs can still be met! Most count on the income from weddings to pay their bills so they'll be willing to work with you.
Your florist? Send flowers to someone you love just "because". Others? Drop a text and let them know you are thinking of them. Couples across the country are having virtual weddings! Others are postponing but a consensus here at Beauty by Creative at Heart, well, we love the idea of a small intimate gathering and believe you should get married anyway! Your grand celebration with friends and family can be held at a later time.
Perhaps this is the time to renew your vows! Have an intimate gathering with your besties and rekindle that spark.
Renewal, small gathering or large, we are at the ready to assist you. At Beauty by Creative at Heart, we want you to look - and feel - more beautiful than you already are! The event and beauty industry is feeling a heavy impact due to the COVID crisis and we know that our brides and clients are also feeling these impacts as a result of personal lost wages through reduced hours or layoffs. We also know that members of your wedding party may also be feeling those effects and may be limited when it comes to the extra expenses that come with the responsibility of being a bridesmaid.
We want you to know that we hear your concerns and we want to do our part and help where we can and help you achieve the wedding of your dreams.
Flexibility
No rescheduling fees will be added as a result of cancellations/postponements due to the COVID crisis.
Deposits and payments made for previously scheduled weddings and events will be held beyond our normal 6 month time frame and applied to your new date.
Events that have been canceled without a foreseeable rescheduling date are handled on a case by case basis.
Discounts on Wedding Day Glam
From now until May 30, 2020, we are gifting our brides with a 10% discount on any size wedding/event day beauty service. Additional charges (travel, early arrival) will still apply where applicable. This offer may not be combined with any other discount, however, if you book with one of our preferred partners, we will honor the greatest discount.
Reduced Deposit Requirements
From now until May 30, 2020, deposits in any amount, with a signed contract, will be accepted as confirmation of your wedding day booking.
Payment Plans
Payments may be made in any increment until 7 days prior to your wedding day when the complete amount is due for your wedding day services.
